My brother Jeff and I had just cruised into camp underneath Parson's peak and Amelia Earhart.  (check out Parson's peak photo's from the prior year here.)  This hike in is long and kinda boring - up Touloume Meadows and then a very dry hike up switchbacks.  I was suffering the aftermath of Bronchitis which had knocked me out of a Rainer trip a few weeks before - taking hits off an inhaler.  Camp is around 9000' and beautiful
