{"id":49,"date":"2015-02-16T21:24:42","date_gmt":"2015-02-16T21:24:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sixthelement.org\/wordpress1\/?p=49"},"modified":"2015-02-16T21:24:42","modified_gmt":"2015-02-16T21:24:42","slug":"clearing-snow-fooling-around-with-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sixthelement.org\/wordpress1\/2015\/02\/16\/clearing-snow-fooling-around-with-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Clearing snow, fooling around with photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My dad and I tag teamed on clearing snow &#8211; we decided not tackle things from 2 days ago yesterday because it was so windy. \u00a0Today was negative ten degrees below zero (-10 below \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0on the porch -when the sun was shining on the porch.<\/p>\n<p>We got the snow blower going and cleared the walk, the car parking spots, widened the driveway, cleared the mailbox for the mail and dressed up the exit to the street because with the snow banks now head high, it is hard to see out for oncoming traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Below is the finished product and ready for the next storm. \u00a0It was pretty cold &#8211; the blowing snow (very dry fine champagne powder) froze my scarf completely solid &#8211; as well as my fleece mittens. \u00a0One of two scarves I got for Christmas served me well!
