{"id":760,"date":"2015-11-29T23:18:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-29T23:18:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sixthelement.org\/wordpress1\/?p=760"},"modified":"2015-11-29T23:19:11","modified_gmt":"2015-11-29T23:19:11","slug":"getting-ready-for-winter-in-carlisle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sixthelement.org\/wordpress1\/2015\/11\/29\/getting-ready-for-winter-in-carlisle\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting ready for winter in Carlisle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past week has been very mild in Carlisle, though it rained most of the day on Saturday. \u00a0Today my dad and I took care of some stuff that needed doing<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We cleaned out the wood shed in preparation for fixing the roof<\/li>\n<li>Cleaned out all the leaves in the Sea Pearl (my parent&#8217;s whale boat sailboat ) that came in when the old tarp shredded. \u00a0We put a new tarp on it but it needs another in a crisscross pattern<\/li>\n<li>cleaned up the garage a bit, re-organized things and put others in the attic<\/li>\n<li>put the Old Town big canoe back up into the boat rack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>now I am having a glass of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hearstranchwinery.com\/Wines\/Red\">Hearst Ranch Winery Cab<\/a> &#8211; via their Wine Club. \u00a0If you haven&#8217;t tried their wines, it is excellent. \u00a0I highly recommend them \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>and I am amusing myself by looking at sheds on wheels &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackdownshepherdhuts.co.uk\/\">like these from the UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you all had a very nice 2015 Thanksgiving Holiday<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This past week has been very mild in Carlisle, though it rained most of the day on Saturday.
