Truss work over the car port. To the left is the garage. On the right hand side in the back – the aluminum ladder is leaning against an out wall that will be part of the master bedroom. The trusses transition here from symmetrical arrangement to the more complex design in the other photos – giving the bedroom a different and higher ceiling height.
This also nicely shows the laminated beam structure that will be visible through portions of the house
The gap in the back is a walkway out of the car port to the north side of the house. There will be mechanical space insulated duct along that back wall at roof height to carry utilities back and forth from the garage on the left. The garage will be heated by the main heat pump and since there will be a sprinkler fire suppression system in the house, the 350 gallon water tank (which is physically large) will be mounted in the interior of the garage.
